TextTip is being replaced with an online service (Catapult) that provides all of the same features, but allows you to report safety concerns from your phone, your computer, your tablet or your Chromebook using an online reporting system rather than just text (it is also encrypted making it more secure). The link for it is on the OVHS website homepage and it says "Report a Tip". If viewing on a phone, it will be on a button along the bottom of the screen; on all other devices, it will be on a gold tab near the main image on the homepage. All reports can be done anonymously, so no one needs to know who you are.
This service should be used to report suspicious behavior; unrecognized individuals or items on campus; discussions or rumors of intended harm to oneself or others; bullying, harassment, abuse or intimidation; drug dealing or use; violations of laws or school rules that put people at risk; or anything that you feel someone running the school should know about. It is for students, parents, or anyone in the community that has safety concerns that the school should address.
Please remember that the purpose of this service is to keep people safe. When you provide information, you are not "snitching," you are protecting your family.
