Dear Senior Parents,

Our Grad Night Party will be held at Speed Zone in City of Industry, this year. Grad Night will be held from 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 16 2010 until 5:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 17, 2010. We provide a safe, sober and drug-free environment for our graduating seniors.

Speed Zone will be closed to the public for our private party. Our graduates will have unlimited use of Top Eliminator Dragsters, Grand Prix track,  Slick Trax, Speedway Golf, Electric Alley-featuring state of the art video and simulator games, Air brush Tattoo Artists, a Palm Reader and some surprises! A variety of food and beverages for the graduates will be provided throughout the evening.

The total cost of this memorable event is estimated to be $30,000. The Grad Night Committee hopes you will take advantage of the discounted ticket price of $95.00 in order that we can plan accordingly and make deposits for additional entertainment.  The $95.00 price will remain until March 30th when the price will increase to $110.00. Tickets purchased after May 1st must be CASH only.  The attached permission slip needs to be signed by both the parent/guardian and student and MUST accompany all payments. You can mail the payment to OVHS Grad Night, 17071 Gothard Str., Huntington Beach, CA 92647, or drop off at the Activities Office at the school.  Grad Night representatives will also be on campus second semester to accept payment and answer any questions. 

All graduates must check into the Ocean View-Warner Ave. parking lot for bus transportation to Speed Zone. No student will be allowed to enter Speed Zone who has not taken our bus.  All graduates must bring their OVHS photo ID to check-in.

Throughout the school year, there will be various fundraisers planned.  Watch for dates in your newsletter, on the marquee and on the ovhs.info website.  Please join in one or more of these events to support our graduating seniors. This is an important way each family can help support Grad Night 2010.

All parents are invited to attend the Grad Night Committee meetings held at 7:00 p.m. in the OVHS Staff Lounge on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. Please come join us.

If we all work together, we can make this a memorable event for our 2010 graduating senior class.
